In 2002 Saeco expanded to New Zealand. Market segments covered include manual, fully automatic, capsule, vending and professional products. In 2007 Saeco International Group (Australia) was established as a 100% subsidiary of Saeco Italy and following this a new market approach was implemented. Headquartered in Melbourne professional management, finance, marketing and technical operations support the Oceania market in Australia and New Zealand. Sales operations are maintained in most capital cities including dedicated sales offices in Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane. The West Australia and New Zealand markets are managed by appointed distributors where a close relationship has been in place over many years. For customers national trading arrangements are in place with major national retail groups and together with focussed support of specialised coffee machine retailers a service focussed approach to the market is given high priority. Consumers and the market are further supported by a comprehensive spare parts facility in Melbourne which together with our technical support function assists service agents conveniently distributed around the country.
