Syntia stainless steel - Plus X Award "High Quality" / "Ease of use"
The Syntia Stainless Steel has just won the Plus X Award 2009, one of the largest worldwide contest for household appliance related to technology, sport and lifestyle competitions for design. The jury of 144 top-class members, including journalists and experts from 32 nations, selected Syntia for those two categories: “High Quality” and “Ease of Use”. The “High Quality” award is one of the most important hallmarks of excellence that a product can acquire. It represents Saeco’s effort to deliver the highest quality, durability and sustainability. The “Ease of Use” award emphasizes Saeco’s challenge to please consumers with an userfriendly fully automatic coffee machines. The combination of both awards acknowledges Saeco’s aim to provide end-consumers with high class products which match the needs of their daily lifestyles.

Talea Ring Plus receives „GUT (2,3)” at “Stiftung Warentest!”
Saeco Talea Ring Plus was signalised with „GUT“ and is one of three best in the category of fully automatic coffee machines. It came on 2nd place with 2,3 points. Among others, the espresso machines were tested on function, reliability, usability and environmental characteristics. The espresso made by the Talea Ring Plus scored especially in the category „Espresso and Cappuccino, which is focused on the flavourful attributes such as crema and consistence. The milky froth of the Saeco Milk Island guaranteed a creamy froth and so also the cappuccino convinced the jury.

The iF product design award is one of the world's three leading design awards and can look back proudly on a 50-old-year history. Saeco Talea won the 2007 Plus X Award for the Design. The Plus X Award honours manufacturers for the quality advantage of their products. The Plus X Award distinguishes products that are viable for the future. And it does so in categories that are of interest to many consumers: Innovation, design, ease-of-use, ergonomics and ecology.

Red Dot Design Award come Product Design Excellence alla Saeco Talea Touch (Model 2007) con Milk Island

Talea Touch (Model 2007), Saeco's automatic espresso coffee-making machine for home use, with the Milk Island - link to Bubble, a special accessory able to transform milk into a soft froth, has won the prestigious 'red dot' award for design excellence. The 'Red dot design award' is one of the most noted international awards in the design sector, and has been supported since 1955 by the Essen Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen (Germany) and yearly assigned to products that stand out for innovative design. An international jury of top experts in the sector has this year evaluated 2,458 products from 43 countries.The initiative concludes with an official ceremony for the consignment of the awards, to take place in Essen on 25th June 2007, and the inauguration of a large exhibition of the winning products. Talea with Milk Island will thus have a place in the 'Red dot design museum', the largest exhibition of contemporary design in the world

The Talea series and the special Milk Island accessory are part of the range of completely renewed automatic machines presented by Saeco last autumn.
The consultancy group, BMW Group DesignworksUsa, was responsible for drawing up the design of the new line of products, together with Saeco. Rounded forms, recognisable details rendered more precious by the materials used, clarity and simplicity of operation, together with the technological innovation distinguishing Saeco's products, render these machines unique in the sector. The ergonomic design has been studied in every detail and responds to practical as well as aesthetic requirements, to ensure convenience for the correct use and maintenance of the machines.
The Milk Island, enabling a coffee to be made into a cappuccino, is an external unit comprising a thermal container that can be connected with the steam tube, and is the latest exclusive novelty in the Talea range, satisfying all the demands of cappuccino enthusiasts and lovers of frothy milk.
The Touch Screen, a simple and intuitive control panel, the SBS (Saeco Brewing System), an elegant group handle for an intense, creamy coffee, the Touch Lift, a cup tray that can be adjusted according to the height of the cup used, and the ceramic coffee grinder preventing a contact between coffee and metal, are just some of Talea's other unique features..

Primea Cappuccino Ring awarded a “GUT (2.1)” score for milk-based beverages.
The leading German consumer body has been acting on behalf of consumers for over 40 years, checking product quality and carrying out numerous comparative tests. The results of its tests on espresso coffee machines were published in December 2007. Industry leader Saeco received further recognition for the quality of its coffee machines. In particular, Primea Cappuccino Ring received top marks for the preparation of milk-based beverages, one of the principle features of the Primea Cappuccino range. This was an extremely important award, given the strictness of the tests carried out by the consumer body and its good reputation among consumers.
